KRISHNA KANTA HANDIQUE STATE OPEN UNIVERSITY

 

 

A new and glorious chapter has been added to the history of the College by signing a MoU with Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University on 19.12.2007 and opening of a study centre at the college. The opening of the study centre will benefit those who have not been able to pursue their studies for various reasons.

The college fraternity expresses heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mala Sharma who attended the workshop in connection with the MoU on 22.11. 2007 and subsequently the study centre was granted to R. K. Nagar College. Presently, Mr. Debajyoti Sharma is the co-ordinator of the study centre.

Courses offered in the centre:

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

  • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

  • M.A. in English, Political Science, Education and Sociology

  • Master of Social Work (MSW)

  • Diploma in Library Science

  • Computer Hardware and Networking

  • Mobile Phone Repairing

The Students who have passed 10+2 stage or Bachelors Preparatory Programme (BPP) will be eligible to register themselves in the above mentioned Degree Courses.

Admission in the different courses starts every year in the month of July - August.

 

 

ASSAM STATE OPEN SCHOOLING CENTRE

 

 

Assam State Open Schooling Centre under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has been started in our college from the academic session 2010-2011, to cater education to the students of H.S. level.

This is an alternative schooling system where a fresh HSLC or class Xth passed out learner can take admission in the said course.
