"The modernisation, automation and computerization of the
present times demand more emphasis on new knowledge and skills
from the higher education. The student of today is going to be
citizen of tomorrow and hence must be able to earn his own
living. In the words of William Godwin the true object of
education is the generation of happiness. Man is really very
happy when he is adjusted to his occupation. He is adjusted to
his occupation only when the income is responsible and
promises him a fair amount of wordly comforts"
