GOVERNING BODY

State Government constituted the College Governing Body in accordance with the guidelines of Assam Non-Government College Management Rules. 2001.The power and function of the Governing Body laid down in the said Rules. This body mainly deals with the academic affairs as well as the affairs relating to the assets and liabilities of the college ‘in Fair manner with in the frame work of established financial and administrative principles of the State Government from time to time’. Besides, financial management, appointments, receiving of grants from various Govt. /Non-Govt. organizations and utilization of the same, both internal & external discipline all fall with in the jurisdiction of the G.B.
